A Welcome from the headteacher

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Auchterellon Primary and Nursery School. We believe that the best way of ensuring a positive school experience for our pupils is to work in partnership with our families across all areas of their child’s learning and development. We work hard to maintain a positive, nurturing ethos within our school. Building positive relationships is encouraged in every area between staff, children and their families. 

Children are helped to recognise examples of positive behaviour at all times through our values of Creative, Ambitious, Respectful, Resilient and Inclusive and our school rules of Ready, Respectful and Safe. We have an open door policy which means that all parents are encouraged to get in touch with us at any point throughout the year to discuss any issues or concerns they have about their child’s education.
